A series of collage works made using pages from an old book I found that listed music related businesses in London. Acrylic paint was then screen printed directly onto the pages and images from a found book were collaged over the top. These images all represented different types of work. At the time of making these I was interested in how social media and cell phones were having an effect on behaviour, work, leisure time and society in general. I felt the flashy phone provided a convenient silence to certain aspects of life and perhaps washed over what leads to a life of virtue and enjoyment.
